Wabau is the title given to experienced healers who have saved at least one wounded warrior’s life. If Wabau accompany the pharaoh’s army to a battle, combat units will be granted a regeneration bonus, which effects immediate healing of wounded soldiers.
Wabau means “ritually pure”, this is how doctors and other healers are called if they have succeeded in saving life of at least one person. Each Wabau must possess a wide variety of medical skills, from performing surgical procedures on the battlefield to healing with herbal remedies. Apart from civil service, Wabau are also employed in military service: they accompany the pharaoh’s army to the battlefield and heal the wounded in each battle round. Once healed, soldiers immediately return to their ranks to continue with the task in hand. This healing effect is called regeneration effect (50% max. value). To reach the maximum regeneration value, 2 Wabau per each unit must be sent into battle.
